U Mobile Awards the First Grand Prize Winner of UMI Facebook Contest.

Kuala Lumpur, 12 July 2012 –It was a thrilling experience for Peck Chin Fai who had religiously tackled the trivia questions of U Mobile’s ‘Got More Trivia’ Contest and kept constant watch of his progress on the Facebook scoreboard. His devotion paid off and he was finally named the contest’s first grand prize winner, taking home a brand new Samsung GALAXY Note.

The UMI plan subscriber from Equine Park, Seri Kembangan could not contain his excitement when he received the call from U Mobile, informing him of the win. “My heart skipped a beat when I received the call from U Mobile. I was monitoring the results very closely as there was great competition among the participants and the thrill was like being on a mission. I was overcome with joy and felt a great sense of achievement when I was finally named the winner,” said Peck.

Peck has been a satisfied subscriber to U Mobile’s prepaid plan for the last six months, particularly happy with the unlimited mobile Internet he is currently enjoying with the UMI plan because he can continue to surf after he exceeds his data allowance without being charged extra.

U Mobile’s UMI service is an extension to U Mobile’s prepaid plan which provides users high speed mobile internet with unlimited data access. Participants can get more opportunities to answer questions if they invite their friends to take part in the contest.

In addition to the grand prize winners, the 60 U Mobile subscribers with the best scores will also walk away with Unlimited Mobile Internet (UMI) package for a month. 200 pairs of Golden Screen Cinemas movie tickets are also up for grabs for non-U Mobile subscribers who take part in the contest. The ‘Got More Trivia’ contest ends 13 August 2012.
