MSC Malaysia KR8V.Asia Master Class: Mobile Apps and Games

One-Day Masterclass to Feature Manchester United FC’s Mobile Apps Strategist and the Creator of Uberstrike, the #1 FPS on Facebook

KUALA LUMPUR, FEB 16, 2012 – MSC Malaysia KR8V.Asia (pronounced Creative Asia) introduces its first professional development event of the year, a One-Day Master Class on Mobile Applications (Apps) and Games to help local developers gain insights into the increasingly relevant areas of online community engagement and gaming from industry experts to be held at Plug and Play, Level 7, The Gardens South Tower, Mid Valley City on February 24.

This KR8V.Asia 2012 master class is a continuation of MSC Malaysia’s Kre8tif! Platform, which aims to introduce the world’s top creative minds, starting with Mike Dunphy, Manchester United Football Club Mobile Apps Strategist and a pioneer in branded football iPhone Apps, who has an almost unrivalled experience in developing mobile content. He has managed the MUmobile business for Manchester United from 2004 to 2009, delivering many firsts and record breaking services in mobile, servicing fans whilst supporting the club’s wider commercial strategy.

Joining him will be Benjamin Joffe, owner of Cmune and founding CEO of +8* | Plus Eight Star (Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing), who specializes in ‘Innovation Arbitrage’ and bringing proven best practices from the advanced Asian markets of Japan, Korea and China to internet and mobile companies world-wide. He also invested in Cmune | www.cmune.com and Cmune's first game, UBERSTRIKE which is currently the #1 FPS (first-person shooter game) on Facebook.

As the first of a series of master classes, this One-Day Master Class on Mobile Apps and Games is a sneak preview to the full-blown KR8V.AsiA 2012 event on April 6-8, organized by the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) in collaboration with official partners X|Media|Lab’s (XML).
