Carlsberg Introduces UEFA EURO 2012 Mobile App for Fans

KUALA LUMPUR, March 6, 2012 – With less than 100 days to go until the opening game of the UEFA EURO 2012™ football tournament, official sponsor Carlsberg has unveiled the brand new Carlsberg UEFA EURO 2012™ mobile application, giving fans access to exclusive content and all the latest news in the run up to and during this summer’s Finals.

The Carlsberg UEFA EURO 2012™ app is free to download from the Android and iTunes stores and has been developed in partnership with Motain, leader in sports publishing and creator of some of the most popular European football apps on the market. The app will be available in multiple languages and will be one of the most sought after of the year as fans strive to stay up to date with all the latest from the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.Features will include daily international news, live game commentary, a range of constantly updated football statistics, a bar finder, exclusive videos and football content featuring Carlsberg’s global ambassador Peter Schmeichel and the opportunity to vote live for the Carlsberg Man of the Match Award.

The Carlsberg UEFA EURO 2012™ app will, for the first time, offer fans the chance to vote for the Carlsberg Man of the Match live during all UEFA EURO 2012™ matches. By voting, fans will have the chance to influence who is presented with the Carlsberg Man of the Match Award after the game.
