Fujitsu Launches Global Supercomputer Campaign: “What would you do with the world’s most powerful computer?”

Supercomputing question forms basis for the “Redefine Impossible” Facebook contest In Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, 04 April – Fujitsu, Asia’s No. 1 leading IT services and solution provider, kicks off a global campaign based on the supercomputing question of “What would you do with the world’s most powerful computer?”

The campaign commences globally via social media and conventional interactive channels; with the objective of engaging the mass public in an empowering, singular focus on the potential impact of supercomputers to the human society.

This global campaign also shares Fujitsu’s milestones and contribution to the advancement of supercomputing capabilities that is available to the various industries, and highlights how the power of insurmountable technology can address various human issues for a better future.Michele Lum, Marketing Director of Fujitsu Malaysia, says that this campaign exemplifies Fujitsu putting into practice its brand promise of ‘Shaping Tomorrow with You’.

Campaign in Malaysia: ‘Redefine Impossible’ Contest

Under this global campaign, Fujitsu Malaysia is running a “Redefine Impossible” contest that is open to the public on the Fujitsu Malaysia Facebook Page; with up to RM10,000 worth of prizes to be won – including the latest Fujitsu products.

The contest requires each participant to answer the question “How would you Redefine Impossible and reshape the future?” and submit the entry through the Facebook page.

The contest is only eligible for Malaysians or residents of Malaysia aged 18-years old and above. Its closing deadline is 30th April 2012. Throughout the global campaign, Fujitsu will share educational information about supercomputing via its website, social media channels, Google, Facebook and Linked-in to collate public feedback on supercomputing development.

吉隆坡, 04日讯 - 富士通,亚洲第1领先科技服务和解决方案供应商,近日为其以超级电脑相关为基础的全球运动揭开序幕, 以探讨 “假如你拥有世界上最强功能电脑,你会用为何用途?”

此活动已在全球范围内通过社会媒体和传统的互动渠道开始进行, 主要是让大众能对世界上具超级功能的电脑有更深一层的认识,了解超级电脑对社会, 人类的潜在及长远的影响。

这一项全球性的运动中,富士通也同时分享了其在超级电脑领域上的里程碑和发展贡献,并强调如何运用茶几电脑的潜在能力来解决各种人权问题,共创美好未来。

大马活动: “重新定义不可能任务”面子书比赛

凭着这项全球性超级电脑运动,大马富士通业在本地举行了一项“重新定义不可能任务”的问答比赛,开放给公众人士通过大马富士通的Facebook专页参与比赛。 此项比赛的奖金价值高达马币10千零吉, 其中包括富士通的最新产品。

此竞赛要求每个参赛者​回答这一道问题:“你将如何运用超级电脑重新定义不可能的事及塑造未来?”。 所有答案将通过面子书提交。
