Make a Victory Wish Card with LG QuickMemo and Stand to Win LG’s latest Optimus smartphones

Send Messages of Encouragement through LG’s Facebook Campaign

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 July 2012 – LG Electronics (LG) recently kicked-off a virtual campaign for Facebook fans to create their own moments of victory with LG QuickMemo™. Participants of the LG QuickMemo contest stand the chance to win LG Optimus smartphones and portable chargers.

QuickMemo is a unique LG Mobile feature which allows users to spontaneously include a personalised touch on their captured moments. With QuickMemo, users can instantly jot down notes or messages with their fingertips on any original or imported images directly on the screens of LG’s 2012 range of smartphones, excluding the PRADA phone by LG 3.0.LG Mobile is rolling out this digital campaign in two phases in conjunction with upcoming global sporting events such as the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. At the same time, the contest invites participants to get familiarised with the LG QuickMemo tool.

In the first phase, participants are asked to express their moments of ‘victory’ and share messages of encouragement for the country, their favourite athletes or even friends who are pursuing personal goals.

In the second phase of the campaign, contestants can continue to share personal moments that express their dreams and wishes while adding a touch of creativity through QuickMemo.

For each phase, LG is giving away one unit of Optimus 4X HD, four units of Optimus L7 and 30 portable chargers as prizes.

How the LG QuickMemo Contest Works

Those interested in participating do not need to go to an LG authorised outlet to use the QuickMemo feature on an LG mobile device. For this campaign, LG has made available an application demo version on its Facebook page, which is identical to the QuickMemo feature on an LG device, including colour and brush type options.

Beginning today, participants can submit their entries to the LG Malaysian Fan Club Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LGEMalaysia. Simply “like” the page and click on the “QuickMemo event” application to get started. Entrants can choose to upload their own photos, use their Facebook photos or select from a list of pre-set images, before using the QuickMemo drawing tools to create their personalised messages.

There are three ways to win prizes:
1. The top five entries with the most number of votes: First prize with the most number of likes wins an LG Optimus 4X HD while the 2nd-5th prize winners will each get an LG Optimus L7
2. Order of entry: Every 100th entry right up the 3000th participant will each win an LG portable charger
3. Inviting friends into the contest: Ten portable chargers will be given to the largest relay group, five portable chargers for the 2nd largest relay group, whilst the third largest group will receive 3 portable chargers. Recipients of these prizes will be selected randomly.

Entries for Phase One will be accepted between now until 11:59 pm on 12 August 2012. Winners will be informed via email and notification on LG’s Facebook event page by 14 August 2012.

Phase Two of this digital campaign will run from 13 – 31 August 2012.
