Parallels and Quest Software Expand Alliance to Deliver E-Mail Migration and Other Hosted Solutions for Asia Pacific Service Providers


Key Solutions -- including Microsoft Exchange Migration and Desktop as a Service for Parallels Automation Cloud Marketplace- Enable Service Providers to Differentiate Offerings and Drive More Revenue

SINGAPORE, September 19, 2012 – Parallels (www.parallels.com), a hosting and cloud services enablement leader, and Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSFT) today announced they have expanded their existing global alliance, which will now significantly benefit service providers in Asia Pacific. In a region where the demand for small and medium business (SMB) hosting and cloud services is accelerating at a rapid rate, the Quest and Parallels alliance will help cloud service providers to drive revenue faster and differentiate their services with value-added support for a set of solutions. 

As part of the agreement, Quest has packaged its Microsoft Exchange Migration service and Desktop-as-a-Service software under the Application Packaging Standard (APS). Service providers using Parallels Automation can now offer Quest OnDemand Migrator for Email to convert email accounts to hosted solutions such as Microsoft® Office365 or Hosted Microsoft® Exchange., Quest’s Desktop-as-a-Service deployment and management services are also now available to Parallels partners..
