CA Technologies Extends Cross-Platform Infrastructure Management and Monitoring Offering with Nastel Technologies AutoPilot

Distribution Agreement Increases Company’s Agility in Managing Enterprise IT with Comprehensive, Multi-Middleware Solution

Kuala Lumpur, October 2, 2012 - CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) announced a global distribution agreement with Nastel Technologies, the middleware infrastructure monitoring and management company. The agreement strengthens CA Technologies cross-platform offering by adding Nastel’s  AutoPilot® for middleware management.

“Customers around the world are looking for an enterprise solution that manages their middleware infrastructure across mainframe, distributed and cloud platforms,” said Dayton Semerjian, general manager, Mainframe, CA Technologies. “Given the success of our cross-platform application performance management solution, this partnership makes great sense as it extends our already robust monitoring and management capabilities into one of the fastest growing adjacent segments.”

CA Technologies will resell and distribute Nastel’s AutoPilot for middleware, covering IBM WebSphere MQ, Message Broker, DataPower and TIBCO. The AutoPilot solution complements the performance management solutions that CA Technologies offers by extending the management and monitoring capabilities deeper in the middleware infrastructure. While CA Application Performance Management provides application and transaction monitoring and CA SYSVIEW® Performance Management monitors mainframe performance, AutoPilot provides monitoring and management of the middleware infrastructure. The CA Technologies and Nastel agreement demonstrates CA’s commitment to meeting customer requirements for high system availability by providing a solution to help reduce the time from issue detection to remediation.

“We’re thrilled to work with CA Technologies to build added value for our joint customers, expand our routes to market and deliver a very comprehensive enterprise solution for the industry,” said Nastel CEO David Mavashev.  “The agreement takes the depth and breadth of our award-winning AutoPilot product line to even more customers around the world.”

The AutoPilot for Middleware Management solution and its support for the IBM WebSphere MQ family and other middleware solutions is available from CA Technologies today.
