Kuala Lumpur, 29 October 2012 -–             LG Electronics today launched the latest addition to its range of Optimus smartphones, the Optimus Vu:. Equipped with LG’s advanced IPS display technology, the Optimus Vu: offers a unique combination of tablet-like viewing with smartphone portability.

Running on the latest Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and a powerful 1.5GHz quad-core processor, with a 32GB internal memory and a large 2,080 mAh battery, the Optimus Vu: is the ultimate multimedia lover’s device.

The large 5-inch display with its bright 4:3 aspect ratio makes it easier and more comfortable for users to view documents, books, as well as internet and multimedia content. Jotting notes is also possible using the dedicated Rubberdium™ pen. Another productive app installed in the Optimus Vu: is the Polaris Office, which can be used to easily open any document, spread sheet or presentation while on the go.
