Nikon Sponsors ‘The Wedding Diary II’ this Chinese New Year

Kuala Lumpur, 06th February 2013 – In conjunction with Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day, Nikon Malaysia is proud to be part of ‘The Wedding Diary II’ – a heart-warming tale of family ties, love and memorable moments. The highly-anticipated sequel of ‘The Wedding Diary’ picks up two years after the marriage of Wei Jie (Ah Niu) and Zhi Xin (Elanne Kwong), when they welcome a new and unexpected addition to their family.

The movie highlights the couple’s latest addition to the family and how they are aware that their baby’s first step, first laugh and first smile only happens once in a lifetime. A couple’s happy moments and the joy of being a family is also apparent in the movie.

Nikon Malaysia saw the importance of capturing every precious moment and its joy forever, which is part of Nikon’s philosophy of being at the Heart Of The Image.

‘The Wedding Diary II’ is a Malaysian-Singaporean production helmed by Golden Screen Cinemas, Clover Films, Mega Cineplex, Asia Tropical Films and STAR Chinese Movies (SCM).  The movie is slated for release in Malaysia on 7th February 2013 in conjunction with Chinese New Year. Its shooting took place in Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore during July and August last year.

During the press conference of the movie at One World Hotel recently, Nikon presented mementos to the main cast, including baby ‘Wei Wei’, the director and executive producer.  This was followed by the auspicious ‘lou sang’ ceremony in conjunction with the New Year celebration.
