REDTONE MOBILE OUTSOURCES ITS INBOUND CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE TO VADS BHD


REDtone Mobile Sdn. Bhd. recently officially opened its new Customer Service Contact Centre located in the Puchong Financial Corporate Centre (PFCC) at a simple ceremony. The Contact Centre, which will handle all Level 1 inbound calls and emails, will be managed by VADS Berhad (VADS), one of Malaysia’s leading Managed Information Communications Technology (ICT)/Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) service providers.

The ceremony was officiated by REDtone Mobile’s Chief Executive Officer, En Farid Yunus together with VADS’ CEO, En Ahmad Azhar Yahya. Also present were members of the management team of REDtone Mobile & VADS.

Beginning with 10 Customer Service Executives and one team leader, Farid anticipates the contact centre to grow in line with REDtone Mobile’s customer growth, and to employ more than 40 customer service executives by the end of this year.

“As the only post-paid MVNO in the country we face some unique challenges, especially in servicing and making sure all our customers stay happy.  We initially operated our own in-house helpdesk, but given our rapid subscriber growth in recent months, we frankly could no longer cope and had to seek expert assistance. We chose VADS due their mobile industry experience, implementation speed, flexibility and overall great value.” Farid said.

The REDtone Mobile Contact Centre is open Mondays to Sundays from 7.00am till 12.00 midnight.
