“EMC Forum Unplugged 2007” Comes to Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur – July 19, 2007 – EMC Corp., the world leader in information infrastructure solutions, today announced that EMC Forum Unplugged 2007 will be staged in Malaysia on August 2nd, 2007, at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur. The one-day event, this year themed “EMC Info Station Unplugged”, will offer professionals a fresh perspective in a very novel way on how to efficiently manage their information asset while providing a networking opportunity with their peers and international expert speakers.

This year, the Titanium Sponsor of EMC Forum Unplugged is Cisco, the worldwide leader in networking that transforms how people connect, communicate and collaborate. As a special treat, Comedy Court, the famous local comedians Allan Perera and Indi Nadarajah, will be performing at the event.

EMC Forum Unplugged gathers together the industry's widest range of experts, partners and customers, each with a unique perspective on the most innovative approaches to storing, protecting, optimizing and leveraging the information asset.

“Just as bringing information together enhances its value to an organization, bringing together the disciplines and experts responsible for managing that information also results in a tremendous amount of value for the customers and the industry," said Peter Goh, Country Manager, EMC Malaysia. "EMC's scope and breadth have grown to keep pace with the challenges and opportunities our customers face regarding the management and protection of information in all its forms and EMC Forum Unplugged reflects this evolution”.
