KUALA LUMPUR, 20 July 2007 – The Malaysia’s National World Cyber Games Organizer, In2 Marketing & Consulting Sdn Bhd announces FREE participation for the first time in the World Cyber Game Malaysia Championship’s history.
Cyber gamers in Malaysia once again have a reason to rejoice! The inaugural World Cyber Games 2006 Malaysia is back in 2007 with its fee waived! Cyber gamers will only have to register themselves in the WCG 2007 website at http://my.worldcybergames.com/ to participate.
The 6 official World Cyber Games 2007 Malaysia Championship game titles are as follow:
Half-Life®: Counter-Strike™
FIFA Soccer 2007™
Need For Speed™ Carbon
Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars™
WarCraft® III: Frozen Throne™
StarCraft®: Brood War™
The WCG 2007 Malaysia Championship committee will be having a Media Conference together with their Worldwide Sponsor, Samsung, on 10th August, 2007 (Friday) at FMJ (formerly known as Clutch Gamers).
The Committee also announced that the World Cyber Games 2007 Malaysia Championship preliminaries will be kicking off on the 11th August, 2007 (Saturday) at FMJ (formerly known as Clutch Gamers) Cyber Café! Interested participants are to register at FMJ located in SS2, Petaling Jaya.
Don’t miss the exciting series of events that will be taking place at the World Cyber Games 2007 Malaysia Championship Kick Off! The Hitz.fm Cruisers will also make its presence at the kick off.
The organizers also confirmed that they will be running preliminaries on 4 more cyber café, they are; Winter Night Cyber Café, located in Klang; EXC Internet Café, located in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur; TBun Internet Café, Nilai Branch; and TBun Internet Café, Wangsa Maju Branch.
