3COM APPOINTS INFRAMAC AS MAIN NETWORK INTEGRATOR IN BRUNEI

Inframac will add 3Com’s secure, converged voice and data networking technologies to its range of solutions

BRUNEI – May 27, 2008 – 3Com Corporation, a leading provider of secure converged networking (SCN) solutions for enterprises of all sizes, today announced the appointment of Inframac Technology and Marketing (ITM) as its main network integrator for the Brunei market.

“We believe ITM is the right local partner to support 3Com’s growth in Brunei for the enterprise and telecommunications markets,” said Marcus Lai, 3Com’s country manager for Malaysia & Brunei. “ITM has solid track record in Brunei and a reputation for matching specialists and companies in projects among the Brunei-based private sector and local government.”

Headquartered in Brunei, ITM will take advantage of 3Com’s SCN solutions to help drive sales of network security, switching and routing, wireless networking, and Voice over IP (VoIP). Likewise, 3Com will be able to leverage ITM’s established channel base, experience in infrastructure design and deployment, and established relationships with strategic consultants and contractors.
