Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, June 5, 2008 - Maxis Communications (Maxis) and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) have officially announced the availability of the BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8110, BlackBerry® Curve™ 8320 and BlackBerry® 8820 smartphones in Malaysia.

Each smartphone has its own unique features to meet the needs of a range of customers. The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 comes with built-in GPS and the BlackBerry Curve 8320 is Wi-Fi® enabled, while the BlackBerry 8820 supports both GPS and Wi-Fi.
