Staged under the theme: ‘Optimizing Growth: CRM and Information Security Management’, this highly successful C-Level power breakfast series organized by Ricoh Malaysia saw an illustrious panel of speakers addressing the most critical issues pertaining to information security management facing major organizations today.
The keynote address was delivered by Lim Eng Weng, Managing Director of Ricoh Malaysia who shared the importance of information security and Ricoh Malaysia’s own experience in undergoing full Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) certification, due by year end.

“Ricoh Malaysia is advocating ISMS certification as a way of giving our customers the added assurance that their data and information will be subjected to the most stringent security system as we diagnose their document management systems and streamline their processes,” said Lim.
Peter Vogel, Regional Manager of Ricoh Global Services Asia Pacific gave an incisive view at the perils and profit leakages of a typical company’s document management systems and the potential savings of streamlining the document flow and systems. According to Vogel, companies can expect to save up to 30% of their document management expenses by streamlining and rationalizing its document flow and hardware.
Finally, Andrew Knott, Vice President of Marketing of Salesforce.com discussed the value proposition of SaaS (Software as a Service) and how and an effective and outsourced CRM system could ultimately drive more profits for a company.
