Sophos and InfoSec Pacific partner to widen reseller network in Singapore

InfoSec Pacific appointed as Sophos’s Singapore distributor to help accelerate market penetration across the government, banking and finance sectors

Singapore. May 28, 2009 – IT security and control firm Sophos today announced the appointment of InfoSec Pacific as its authorised distributor for Singapore. The partnership will allow Sophos to expand on its network of value added resellers and channel partners in Singapore through leveraging InfoSec Pacific’s demonstrated channel management expertise.

Under the agreement, Sophos and InfoSec Pacific will jointly develop and implement channel incentive schemes, training tools and marketing programmes to recruit new channel partners and accelerate business growth for existing ones.

As a specialist distributor of a comprehensive range of enterprise security solutions, InfoSec Pacific will add Sophos Security and Data Protection, together with the flagship suite of Sophos’s award-winning endpoint security and network access control (NAC) solutions to its staple offerings. Sophos Security and Data Protection is the new offering to the mainstream market that combines Sophos’s endpoint, email and web products in a single solution.

With Sophos Security and Data Protection, Sophos will be the first major security vendor to offer data protection for the value of an anti-virus solution budget, and in a simple and affordable way.
