Partnership to bring premium quality, expert content on real estate to Malaysian property investors
KUALA LUMPUR, 25 August, 2011 — Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO), the premier digital media company and www.HomeGuru.com.my, one of Malaysia’s leading real-estate websites, today announced a partnership that will see the two publishers deliver premium property content to an Internet audience of over 18 million users in the country (Source: IDC).
In this first-of-its kind content partnership, HomeGuru will deliver market intelligence, real estate news, expert views, interviews and articles, as well as related content such as real estate directories, upcoming events and mortgage guides on Yahoo! To help users in Malaysia with their property decisions.
The partnership will drive additional traffic to both sites, as well as increase brand awareness for HomeGuru in the core property market of Malaysia. The agreement will also allow Yahoo! To monetise allocated ad inventories on HomeGuru’s network.
