AIMS Group Achieves Dual Certification Milestones

AIMS Group succeeds dual ISO certifications in hopes of increasing revenue growth

KUALA LUMPUR, May 3, 2012–AIMS Group announced today that they have achieved two ISO certifications: ISO 9001: 2008 for Quality Management System and ISO 27001:2005 for Information Security Management Systems.

These internationally recognized certifications are awarded to organizations that has implemented and followed a comprehensive system that addresses all areas of an organization’s operations.CEO of AIMS Group, Mr. Chiew Kok Hin says, “With these certifications, it is a statement of assurance to our valued customers that the facilities and functionalities of our data centre is more than equipped to deliver quality, efficient management and stringent data security.”

“Both the achievements will further motivate AIMS to continue improving our processes. At present, we are pursuing for yet another certification; the ISO/IEC 20000.”

He further reiterated, “I am very pleased that we have achieved these certifications as we have always taken our responsibilities for securing sensitive information seriously, especially where customer data is concerned. We hope that in working to comply with the ISO standards will streamline processes and operations ensuring top notch quality services and solutions to our customers. In addition, we also hope that the certifications will also be viewed as an indication to a growth in revenue.”

These certifications exhibits AIMS’ commitment to lead by example, by continuing to comply with specific standards it demonstrates data integrity which is pertinent to AIMS, standing as the most densely populated carrier neutral data centre in the country.

According to SIRIM as of end of December 2009, at least 1,064,785 ISO 9001 certificates had been issued in 178 countries and economies while ISO/IEC 27001 certifications has reached almost 13,000 in 117 countries. With the ISO 27001 certification, AIMS Group has joined the ranks of 40 other companies in Malaysia as of mid-2011, that are ISO/IEC 27001 certified. Their certification is aligned with the government call for ISO/IEC 27001 certification primarily for critical information infrastructure.

吉隆坡，16日讯 - AIMS集团今天宣布，他们已经成功获取了两项ISO认证， 分别为ISO9001：2008质量管理体系和资料安全管理体系的ISO27001:2005认证。

这些被授予国际认可的认证是专发布予已实施和遵循一个综合系统来解决组织以内的所有业务领域的组织。
