Kuala Lumpur, 10 May 2012 – Canon Marketing (Malaysia) today announced an exclusive collaboration with Infinity Wedding Mall, the only prestigious one-stop wedding mall in Malaysia. The collaboration will see the establishment of a photo gallery powered by EOS at Level 2 of Infinity Wedding Mall and there will also be exclusive venue rental packages available for all EOS Buddy Club and Canon Professional Service program members.

Canon Malaysia will be working closely with 18 carefully selected top local wedding photographers who will be showcasing their work at the photo gallery. This provides them with a platform to showcase their portfolio to couples who are interested in engaging the services of freelance wedding photographers. Interested parties can view their work and have further discussions with the photographers at their booths which are also located on Level 2.

Additionally, Infinity Wedding Mall will be partnering with Canon Malaysia to organize monthly wedding photography and videography related activities that will be held at Infinity’s seminar rooms or ballrooms on Level 6. Through this partnership Canon has already organized an inaugural forum that was held on the 21st of April; a Wedding Photography & Videography Forum conducted by four renowned wedding photographers and videographers namely Peter Tan of Peter Tan Photography, Norazam of Neurmaya Photography, Andy Tan of The Studio Park and Fauzee of Manggis.tv. It was an eye-opening session exploring topics such as the selection of suitable cameras and lenses, lighting tips, settings advice, poses ideas, storyboard structure, suggested types of music and editing guidelines.

With this collaboration, all Canon Professional Service (CPS) members & Canon EOS Buddy Club (EBC) members are entitled to a special early bird leasing package offered by Infinity Wedding Mall. Under the special early bird leasing package, Canon Professional Service (CPS) & Canon EOS Buddy Club (EBC) members can enjoy discount up to 51% on digital and non-digital advertising panel rental fees.
