Lexmark Spreads Cheer to Children of Rumah Impian

Petaling Jaya, 12 June 2012 – It was indeed a lunchtime well spent for the team at Lexmark International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd when they made a special visit to the Rumah Impian charity home in Petaling Jaya to share special treats and to hand over provisions for the underprivileged children living there.

Lexmark International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd contributed daily groceries for the children and their caretakers, such as rice, sugar and milk. The team also had a great time playing games and serving up a KFC lunch feast for the children, which was a special treat that the children did not often enjoy.Larry Leow, Country Manager at Lexmark International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, playing Pictionary with children of Rumah Impian together with Lexmark’s personnel.

“In appreciation of our own blessings, we wanted to spare a thought for the underprivileged and it is great to be able to bring some cheer to these children, even if it is only for a brief couple of hours. We are glad to have been able to brighten their day,” said Larry Leow, Country Manager at Lexmark International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

Several hours passed quickly as the 10 personnel from Lexmark spent time with the children and got to know them. They heartily enjoyed participating in fun and games and dancing together with the kids.(In the middle) Larry Leow, Country Manager at Lexmark International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, with children of Rumah Impian and Lexmark’s personnel

Larry added, “It is indeed meaningful to be able to share such special moments with these children. They truly appreciate every little thing you do for them. I count these memories among my favourites. These children need our love and support in all ways.”
