LATEST HOTLINK PLANS OFFER FREE CALLS TO CUSTOMERS IN KELANTAN AND TERENGGANU


Hotlink offers customers in Kelantan and Terengganu all-in-one prepaid plans that offer free voice calls and access to the lowest rates in all five categories – Voice Calls, SMS, Surfing, IDD (International Direct Dialling) and Roaming

Hotlink, Malaysia’s no. 1 prepaid service from Maxis Berhad ("Maxis"), has launched its latest plans for customers in Kelantan and Terengganu; the Hotlink Kelantan Plan and the Hotlink Terengganu Plan. The innovative all-in-one prepaid plans give customers in Kelantan and Terengganu free voice calls as well as access to the lowest rates in five categories – Voice Calls, SMS, Surfing, IDD (International Direct Dialling) and Roaming.

To enjoy the free voice calls to all Hotlink and Maxis lines, customers only need to top up as low as RM5, and immediately enjoy 25 minutes worth of free calls, and up to 100 minutes if they top up RM30 or more. With a commitment of RM5 (Kelantan Hotlink5 Pass or Terengganu Hotlink5 Pass), customers will also enjoy the lowest flat rate of 12 sen per minute to all networks as well as free data of 10MB.

For customers who would like to subscribe to these Plans, they will only need to purchase either the RM5 Hotlink Kelantan Plan starter pack or the RM5 Hotlink Terengganu Plan depending on which state they reside in respectively.

Customers will receive attractive rates with the Hotlink Kelantan Plan and the Hotlink Terengganu Plan encompassing these FIVE value propositions:

1. Talk
With the Hotlink Kelantan Plan and the Hotlink Terengganu Plan, customers can enjoy free calls to all Hotlink and Maxis numbers, just by topping up. By topping up by as low as RM5, customers will immediately enjoy 25 minutes worth of free calls, and up to 100 minutes with a top up of RM30 or more. Through Kelantan Hotlink5 and Terengganu Hotlink5, customers will enjoy even lower rates of 12 sen / min to all networks, translating to savings of up to 70%.

Under the Hotlink Kelantan Plan and the Hotlink Terengganu Plan, customers will enjoy up to 50% savings on all text / SMS to Hotlink and Maxis numbers instantly without any hassle. With Kelantan Hotlink5 and Terengganu Hotlink5, customers will enjoy just 1 sen / SMS (same network), translating to savings of up to 80%.

3. Surf
The Hotlink Kelantan Plan and the Hotlink Terengganu Plan give customers bite-sized passes at affordable rates. The plans provide flexibility in managing customers’ mobile internet surfing needs. Under this category, the Hotlink Kelantan Plan and the Hotlink Terengganu Plan offer the lowest Daily Mobile Internet Pass at RM2 for 100MB, or Weekly Mobile Internet Pass at RM8 for 100MB (equivalent to 500 web pages or 1,000 emails).

4. IDD
In December 2011, Maxis launched its IDD132 to 10 countries (Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, India, Myanmar, Cambodia, Pakistan, Vietnam) and since then, there has been a surge in minutes of use (MOU) to all these countries, particularly Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan and India. With such a demand, in February 2012, Hot IDD132 was extended to 50 countries. Today, IDD under the Hotlink Kelantan Plan and the Hotlink Terengganu Plan offer the lowest call rates (30 second charging block) and savings of up to 70% to the world, all day long, seven days a week, and even lower rates for selected migrant countries which include Nepal, China, India, Myanmar and Pakistan.

5. Roaming
With the Hotlink Kelantan Plan and the Hotlink Terengganu Plan, customers in Kelantan and Terengganu can enjoy the lowest Prepaid Data Roaming rates at RM5/MB (up to 50% savings) to 16 countries (all operators) for international surfing needs. The 16 countries include Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Macau, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, China, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Kingdom and Vietnam.

Maxis also currently offers a special roaming package which allows customers to surf the internet all day by subscribing to unlimited daily data passes for only RM38 a day to 10 countries (selected operators), which include Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
