Brother Launches High Performance Monochrome Laser MFC Range For SMB/SME and Enterprises

Superb-quality prints and faxes at faster speed with lower power consumption, for lower Total Cost of Ownership

Petaling Jaya, December 13th, 2012– Brother International Malaysia, a leader in home and business IT peripherals that focuses on the ‘Customer-First’ approach, introduces five enhanced models to its existing line-up. The new range of monochrome laser printers HL-5450DN and HL-5440D, Multi-Function Centres MFC-8910DW and MFC-8510DN tailored to meet the daily needs of small-medium businesses and large corporations for high-quality, reliable and cost-effective prints.

Apart from a range of improved features, users can also expect faster prints as Brother’s enhanced series now boasts the fastest printing speed in its class of 40 pages per minute (ppm).

In 2011, smartphone sales overtook desktop/laptop sales for the first time ever. According to Canalys  report, global shipment of smart phones in 2011 topped at 487.7 million units compared to 414.6 million units of desktop/laptop. This trend has continued to gain strength with more people opting for mobile Internet devices for work use.

To cater to the growing legions of users who are eschewing traditional desktops or laptops for mobile devices at work, Brother International is rolling out its Mobile Print feature across all new generation MFCs that allows printing from any mobile Internet device. The driverless printing supports various platforms, such as the Brother iPrint & Scan, Google Cloud Print, Apple Air-Print and Wi-Fi Direct (applicable for wireless models only).

HL-5450DN provides fastest printing speed in its class of 40 pages per minute (ppm).
