Camera & Photo Imaging Show CP+2013 World Premiere

Connecting the world, expanding the limit of photo imaging

Event Overview and Detailed Follow-up Info
The Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) (JCII Bldg. 25, Ichiban-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President: Makoto Kimura) will hold the CP+2013 Camera & Photo Imaging Show from Thursday, January 31 to Sunday, February 3, 2013. CP+ is a comprehensive camera and photo imaging show covering a wide range of aspects of the industry, from the initial input of data to its final output.

With the theme “World Premiere—Connecting the world, expanding the limit of photo imaging”, the 2013 event will call attention anew to the various “powers” of photography through four days of product and photo exhibitions and a wide range of events that provide the joy of “shooting”, “viewing” and “connecting” pictures.

In a confirmed special lecture, William A. Ewing (former director of the Musée de l'Élysée, Switzerland) will talk about the wide ranging impact of digitization on the world of photography. CP+2013 will also play host to a great deal of content including new initiatives such as a temporary “Family Photo Studio” produced by Professional Photographers of Japan, where professional photographers will take your family portraits; “OPEN SHOW CP+2013”, an internationally-networked photo slide show event held in 26 cities across 17 countries; “PHOTOGRAPHERS SUMMIT -Extra Event-”, an experimental live photo show that offers the chance to experience various state-of-the-art photographic expressions including slide shows, portfolios and invaluable art books. Through these projects we will support and promote the photographic culture from various angles.
