ECS inks deal with CA Technologies


Signs agreement to distribute CA Technologies data management solutions in Malaysia

Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, 26 March 2013 – Malaysia’s leading ICT distributor ECS ICT Berhad (ECS, 佳杰科技; Bloomberg: ECS MK; Reuters: ECSI.KL) has inked a deal with CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA), a leader in IT management solutions, to distribute the latter’s data management solutions in Malaysia.

This deal will see ECS’ wholly-owned subsidiary ECS Astar Sdn Bhd become an authorised distributor of CA ARCserve data protection and CA ERwin data modeling software.

CA ARCserve® data protection solutions simplify backup and disaster recovery for physical and virtual server environments, helping to ensure business continuity. CA ERwin® data modeling tools help business and technical users better understand and enforce critical data definitions and more easily leverage information as a strategic asset.

ECS will distribute CA Technologies data management solutions immediately.
