Efficient, Easy and Excellent quality scanning
Executives in the sales sector who are required to spend most of their time out for business meetings with clients would love how portable yet proficient the imageFORMULA P-208 is. Ultra-slim and weighing only 600g, the new imageFORMULA P-208 not only fits easily into a briefcase but also features an Auto Document Feeder that allows efficient batch scanning of up to 10 sheets at one go. In addition, it incorporates two image sensors that can capture both sides of a document in a single pass, offering productive and high-speed duplex scanning of up to 16ipm, using a single USB connection.

The imageFORMULA P-208 comes with in-built settings that help increase efficiency with its high level of usability. The scanner is able to scan plastic cards such as IDs and embossed cards, which will be useful for users in the banking, insurance or real estate industry, especially during the process of signing contracts and closing deals.

The imageFORUMULA P-208 also comes with smart scan features such as deskew, auto page size detection, double feed detection and skip blank page that automatically corrects any defects while scanning, further streamlining work processes while providing users with greater convenience. Other document processing functions that ensures professional-looking documents that can be presented to clients immediately for fast and simple transactions include the Moiré Reduction and Background Smoothing, which reduces noise and distortions in images, as well as the Remove Background Function, which helps to prevent bleed-through when scanning.

Convenience On-the-Go
For greater connectivity and convenience, the imageFORMULA P-208 scanner can be paired with the Canon Wi-Fi unit WU10, an optional Wi-Fi and power supply accessory, to perform wireless scanning via the CaptureOnTouch Mobile. The CaptureOnTouch Mobile is a free mobile app for iOS and Android devices.  Users have the flexibility to scan directly to their smartphones and tablet devices via a Wi-Fi network, whether they are at home, in the office or on the move. They can enjoy the convenience of sharing and uploading documents easily to their favorite cloud-based applications. The CaptureOnTouch Mobile supports duplex batch scanning and includes a versatile range of scanning features such as auto document size detection and skip blank page.

The Canon Wi-Fi unit WU-10 and CaptureOnTouch Mobile app is currently available in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India and Indonesia.
