“KILLER IS DEAD” Release Date Confirmed Japanese, English Version Released Simultaneously as in Japan on 1st August and Chinese, English & Japanese Version on 1st September

Malaysia, 19th July 2013 - Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong (SCEH) announced today that PlayStation®3 (PS3™) exclusive software “KILLER IS DEAD” (KADOKAWA GAMES) Japanese, English version and Chinese, English & Japanese version with Traditional Chinese subtitles will be released on 1st August, 2013 and 1st September, 2013 respectively. The Chinese, English & Japanese version is produced through the collaboration between KADOKAWA GAMES and Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia. By providing a Japanese/English audio selection and a complete Chinese interface of the main story, action controls, mission modes, players can enjoy the multi-faceted charm of the title to the fullest.

One year since PlayStation®3 (PS3™) software “LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW” - which still boasts unshaken popularity now - was released in 2012, KADOKAWA GAMES and GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE INC. jointly present this entertainment action title of unique visuals and stylish actions for mature gamers.

The protagonist Mondo Zappa is a novice sent to work in an executioner office, where all kinds of eccentric requests beyond common sense are received. Battles with bizarre evil criminals are set all over the world and on the moon, depicted in an uncompromising manner that is typical of Executive Director Goichi Suda. One of the most representative actions is an execution method “Sword Arts” that uses the sword in the character’s right hand and the equipment change weapon on the left arm. Players must be meticulous and strategic to “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee”; and apart from the exhilarating and highly addictive “hack & slash” way of playing, players can also freely select the growth of the character. There is also a “Gigolo Mission” that allows players to spend some relaxing time with “Mondo Girls” who are unique beauties from all over the world. By successfully flirting with the beauties, Mondo obtains new power, strength and courage. Players are entertained with another battle with a maximum level of excitement.    

To commemorate the release of Japanese version and Chinese, English & Japanese version, a PS3™ original custom theme will be given to those who have purchased any one of the two versions. The both Japanese version and Chinese, English & Japanese version contain 4 DLC as below:

- An extra mission: Episode 51- The Man Who Stole Blood
- Gigolo Glasses: Mondo Zappa will receive special glasses that grants X-Ray vision, allowing him to reap extra enjoyment from the beauties in Gigolo Mode
- An additional beauty Betty for Gigolo Mode: Temptation of miss Vampire
- A Bikini: Additional costume for Mika and Vivien
