SEEBURGER Appoints CrimsonLogic as a Strategic Solutions Reseller

CrimsonLogic to offer enterprise class Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions in Singapore, Middle East and Africa

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 October 2013– SEEBURGER, a global leading business integration and enterprise class Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions provider, today announces its strategic alliance with CrimsonLogic eTrade Services Pte. Ltd. (‘CrimsonLogic’), a leading provider of trade and logistics solutions, as its new regional reseller to offer Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions in Singapore, Middle East and Africa.

James Hatcher, Regional Director of SEEBURGER Asia Pacific says, “CrimsonLogic is a trusted partner to governments all over the world. We are expecting to see significant MFT solution sale opportunities arising over the next six months working with CrimsonLogic.”

Hatcher adds that the partnership with CrimsonLogic also puts SEEBURGER in a stronger strategic position to expand its penetration into the trade and logistic community where CrimsonLogic has established strong credibility.

Simon Lai, General Manager of CrimsonLogic eTrade Services shares, “Partnering with SEEBURGER will enable our company to widen our solution offerings to customers in Singapore, Middle East and Africa, while significantly allaying our customer’s data security concerns. I believe CrimsonLogic has the right mix of customer base and business footprint to explore and implement innovative solutions.”

Plugging the File Transfer Security Gap in Governments
Hatcher further adds, “Data Security is now a top priority in government and financial sectors. Every year the governments spend billion dollars on sophisticated cyber security measures, but too often ignore the basics of protecting files, forgetting that the main data security vulnerabilities at government levels are mainly due to employees’ use of unsecure methods, such as File Transfer Protocol to exchange information.”
“There is a significant demand for secured MFT solutions and the partnership with CrimsonLogic  helps us make greater inroads into these sectors in Singapore, Middle East and Africa,” says Hatcher, adding that SEEBURGER already has regional presence in China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, and Australia.

“The alliance with CrimsonLogic is strategic in two ways.  Firstly, it enhances both organization’s global market share and customer base.  Secondly, CrimsonLogic has made successful forays into the Middle Eastern and African markets, while SEEBURGER has a stronger presence in Europe and North America. The vast experience of CrimsonLogic in I.T. security yields great potential for SEEBURGER to capture new market share,” Hatcher highlights.

Simon further shares, “SEEBURGER’s reputation for secured file transfer solutions will enhance our position to help our customers best optimize their investments, by enabling an unprecedented degree of connectivity, visibility and collaboration in information exchange for business communications.”

“Importantly, as governments and enterprises move towards managing larger volumes of information and data, as one of the world’s leading eGovernment solution provider, it makes business sense to be able to bring in and offer innovative solutions that will help our customers enhance their operational efficiency in a safer environment.”
