2,554 Mystery Deals sold-out within two and half hours!
PETALING JAYA, 7 November 2013 – Jed Koh Wee Seang was all smiles as he sailed away with a 5 days 4 nights Superstar Libra Cruise to Phuket and Krabi, inclusive of an overnight stay at the Hard Rock Hotel in Penang, for two which is worth RM 6,875.00 as part of Groupon’s Mystery Deal Twitter contest.
“I first heard about the Mystery Deal through my colleague as it was such an interesting deal. My colleagues and I were drawn to the mystery element of the deal and the word spread like wild fire in our office.
With everyone talking about it, I immediately bought it via the Groupon mobile app and participated in the Twitter contest. I would like to thank Groupon for this awesome prize and I look forward to my first cruise experience,” said Jed.
Nine other participants of the contest also got their hands on other exciting prizes courtesy of Groupon Malaysia. Esther Teo and Marco Bos both won a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a Samsung camera respectively. Other consolation prizes included Beats by Dr. Dre headphones and Breytenbach watches.

The Mystery Deal is another initiative by Groupon Malaysia to deliver exciting deals to its subscribers where they can save 30-99% off any randomly selected items.
The main attraction of the deal was that subscribers had no clue as to what had been purchased until it had been delivered to them. However, they were aware that items included electronics that could potentially range from Instax cameras, tablets, and 1 terabyte external hard drives.
