“With the Christmas season just around the corner, it is very likely that most consumers have the latest gadgets and computing devices at the top of their wish lists,” said Sameer Tupaki, Marketing Manager, Intel Malaysia. “There have been many exciting products made available in the market since the launch of Intel’s 4th Generation Intel Core processor family earlier this year. We couldn’t be more excited to share them with our consumers especially through our PC trade-in program.”

Launched earlier this year, ‘Generation Today’ encourages Malaysian consumers to upgrade their PCs to the latest touch-enabled devices powered by Intel processors. The announcement of ‘Trade up my PC’ marks the culmination of a 14 city nationwide roadshow under the campaign and kicks off from the 5th of December 2013 all through to the 31st of January, 2014.

Intel also toasted the various winners of contests under the ‘Generation Today’ campaign at the event.  Walking away with a brand new Asus FonePad are Luqman Rasat (Longest Touch Challenge Winner) and Arnold Cheong (Graffiti Touch Challenge Winner). Koo Wai Hong and Leong Pui Yee were also announced as the lucky recipients of a snazzy Vespa1 worth RM 12,0002.

“On behalf of Intel, I would like congratulate all contest winners who have participated in our Generation Today campaign. Intel has been at the forefront of driving innovation in computing technology, from Ultrabook™ to tablets, All-In-Ones to smartphones,”  Sameer Tupaki added.  “These devices come with everything one may need for work and play, whether it is assurance in performance quality, lightweight form factor, extraordinary battery life, convenience or efficiency. If you’ve recently upgraded your PC to a faster, more powerful Intel powered-device, these holidays are the best time to share it with your friends and family.”
