This enables employees to print and scan securely from a variety of devices on the go.
Environmental Friendly Features, Proficient Service and Fleet management
Energy conservation has never been easier for companies with the second generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE. The second generation series comes with built-in energy saving features such as weekly and auto shut down timers that can be scheduled by the administrator for greater cost-savings. Another feature that will benefit a company’s bottom line is the low Typical Energy Consumption (TEC) Value as these models consume little energy during sleep mode.
The second generation imageRUNNER series is also equipped with e-Maintenance which is a service that enables remote monitoring of the devices to enable maximum uptime and lesser administrative burden. This way, all the devices are connected to the same network can be programmed to be shut down at the same time. This allows the administrator to effortlessly control devices that are not in use to reduce power usage and also replenish consumables more efficiently, capture meter readings and improve the chance of a remote diagnostics.
Advanced Control, Security and User Efficiency
The second generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE series equip users with a range of security, print management and cost-accounting solutions to give businesses a peace of mind. For most companies and especially government agencies, security and control is certainly the most important concern. This series is iEEE2600.1 compliance and equipped with a range of security and control features such as the Access Management System, Audit Log function, HDD Data Erase and Encryption, to prevent unintended information access as well as provide usage information for better control.
This range of MFDs support a new optional login application called the Universal Login Manager (ULM), a server-less accounting and secure print solution that prevents unintended information access with extensive security measures available within the interface and also provides additional usage information for better user control. The application provides businesses with enterprise level control, allowing IT administrators to easily track printing and copying usage easily. Users are also able to personalize the device to automate commonly performed tasks for enhanced productivity.
The Access Management System helps to enforce printing control by restricting usage of functions for each user to specific devices in different parts of the office, this prevents information leakage while also reducing printing costs. The Audit Log tracking program collects different types of logs that help companies track user authentication and information, copy/fax/scan/send/print job status and machine management operations. In addition, features like the HDD Data Erase function and Encryption address data security and privacy concerns as users are able to overwrite the image data up to nine times to ensure that confidential information can never be retrieved.
