HTC MALAYSIA ANNOUNCES LOCAL BLINKFEED PROVIDERS

Local HTC BlinkFeed channels to provide up-to-date local Malaysian news to users

MALAYSIA – 24 January, 2014 – HTC BlinkFeed, one of the highlighted features in the award-winning HTC One and other HTC smartphones that feature the Sense 5.0 and onwards, is featuring local providers for the latest up-to-date Malaysian news for their users. Currently with 8 local BlinkFeed providers, HTC Malaysia is looking at expanding their local providers to cater to the growing BlinkFeed
users throughout the nation.

“The HTC BlinkFeed is one of our greatest innovations in HTC smartphone history. Users are empowered to the latest news, updates and feeds with a simple tap on their home screen. The growing amount of providers is a testament to the success of the HTC BlinkFeed and we are expecting to see more local providers to jump on board in due time,” said Mr. S.K Wong, Country Manager of HTC Malaysia.

How-to enable local providers on HTC BlinkFeed
In order to enjoy the latest feeds from local providers, HTC BlinkFeed users will only be required to select ‘Topics and Services’ from the dropdown menu on HTC BlinkFeed and select the available local providers in Featured Headlines to add to HTC BlinkFeed. Users will then be able to view and read the latest news from these local providers upon the next refresh.
