HP Launches Total Care in Malaysia

PENANG, Malaysia, Feb 28 2008– Hewlett-Packard (M) Sdn Bhd today launched its first HP Total Care Customer & Partner event for its customers and partners at the G Hotel, Penang. The session introduces the HP Total Care Program, which is designed to address the needs of the commercial market in providing a full range of personalised services for every stage of the device/computer lifecycle: from choosing, to using, protecting, and transitioning it.

Customers and partners from 62 companies attended the single-day event which included informative points on the HP Total Care program, live modules and demonstrations of the program.

“If an organization is running commercial infrastructure solutions, and for it to determine the ideal IT environments based on preset requirements and budgets, including having PC diagnostic and monitoring tools, HP Total Care pretty much takes care of it all; all devices and components of the customers’ network are covered, including servers, workstations, PCs, notebooks and printer”, said Danny Lee, Country General Manager, Personal Systems Group, Hewlett-Packard (M) Sdn Bhd.

“This new customer initiative is flexible and comprehensive enough to meet the varied needs of all organizations across different sectors and businesses. HP Total Care is yet another example of how we are taking care of the needs of our customers on a holistic and complete end-to-end basis. That’s what HP is – we’re showing now that we don’t just sell hardware with bundled software,” he said.

Total Care covers real-time support, through the provision of skilled technical personnel that will be able to field inquiries about their own systems 24 hours a day, seven days a week. HP is also offering professional design solutions at the fraction of the usual costs, under Logoworks – this is just one example of how HP is giving better value to their customers.

HP Malaysia will also be conducting two more TotalCare events at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur and Pan-Pacific Hotel, Johor Bharu, on 19 and 26 March respectively.
