Lexmark makes home and student printing affordable and easy with built-in wireless and front laptop port

KUALA LUMPUR, 5, August – Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) today introduced a new line of inkjet printers and All-in-One devices geared toward the home and student user. The line includes a wireless All-in-One as well as the world’s only All-in-One with a front laptop port for quick and easy printing access.

According to IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly PC Tracker, the portable share of the PC market is almost 45% in the third quarter of 2007 and this is largely expected to reach 50% by the end of 20081, illustrating the increasing popularity of mobile computing. IDC added that the laptop sales growth in 2007 was more than 33% over desktop growth.

To serve the growing number of mobile laptop users, Lexmark’s new X4650 All-in-One makes wireless printing easier and more affordable. For those who need quick and easy printing from their laptop, but do not have wireless capabilities, Lexmark also offers an All-in-One inkjet printer with a unique quick-connect front laptop port.

The new Home and Student line features two inkjet printers: the Lexmark X4650 Wireless All-in-One for RM 399.00; and the X3650 All-in-One for RM 299.00.
