AIREMIST LAUNCHES THE FIRST AIR TO DRINKING WATER SYSTEM IN MALAYSIA

Turning air to safe and clean drinking water is no longer exclusive to the future

Subang Jaya, 8 January 2009 – Turning air into drinking water is no longer seen as a reality made for sci-fi movies as AireMist launches the first ever, air-to-water system in Malaysia. The launching ceremony was held in Sheraton Subang, yesterday.

“The AireMist technology allows air to be turned into clean drinking water,” said the Managing Director of AireMist, Adrian Goh who added, “There is no need for plumbing or a water source, just an electrical socket and air”.

AireMist Sdn Bhd Managing Director Adrian Goh (from left), Vanessa & Pamela Chong (of the Amazing Race fame) and Eu Jene, Director of AireMist Sdn Bhd at the launch of Airemist water technology system in Sheraton Subang on Jan 8.

AireMist has been certified by the Conformite Europeene (CE) and is a member of the Water Quality Association in the USA. The quality of AireMist water has been scrutinized by scientists and has been tested 99.9% pure. This exceeds the international standards of water quality.

Pure water that is free of contaminants and chemicals provides optimal hydration as it is better absorbed by the body. Optimal hydration is a crucial part of facilitating the processes of a healthy body.

The technology originates from the United States and is currently making waves around the world as the concern of tainted water is on the rise. AireMist uses affordable technology to deliver safe and pure drinking water while sustaining the environment for the future.

“33.8% of water from China’s Yellow River is so polluted that it is deemed toxic for human consumption” said Goh as he elaborated on the importance of safe drinking water for good health. The iconic Yellow River provides water to most of China’s population. However, with the booming population, manufacturing industries and inconsistent enforcements on environmental law, the Yellow River has become the dumpsite for China.

Consumers in Malaysia are spoilt for choice when it comes to obtaining clean drinking water. However, eco-friendly ways of attaining clean drinking water are few and far between. Bottled water is by far the most convenient way in attaining clean water. However, it is hardly cost-effective or eco-friendly. In the year of 2006, the world consumed 154 billion litres of water, 80% of those bottles ended in landfills and each of these bottles will take up to 1000 years to biodegrade.

This contribution to the overflowing landfills undoubtedly works against sustaining the environment which is crucial to our survival. Therefore, AireMist takes a stance as a company that uses technology in the interest of sustaining the environment.

To be able to turn air into clean drinking water is undoubtedly one of the most significant breakthrough inventions of this decade. This is probably the dawn of a new beginning where affordable and pure drinking water will be accessible to anyone who has an electrical outlet.

“The technology of AireMist answers one of the most pertinent issues known to mankind – attaining clean water without taxing Mother Earth,” said Goh.
