FalconStor Launches Partner Program and Web Portal in APAC to Enhance Channel Sales

FalconStor’s PartnerChoice Program and PartnerPlace Web Portal Provide Comprehensive Sales Tools and Support to Meet Channel Partners’ Needs

KUALA LUMPUR, April 18, 2012—FalconStor Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: FALC), the market leader in disk-based data protection solutions, today launched PartnerChoice, FalconStor’s new three-tiered channel partner program, in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, completing its worldwide rollout. The program is designed to provide optimal channel marketing and sales support based on each partner’s business model, level of engagement and commitment. As an integral part of PartnerChoice, FalconStor has launched the PartnerPlace Web portal, which allows partners to track opportunities, manage account information and access an extensive knowledgebase of resources.

FalconStor’s PartnerChoice program is designed to drive revenue and growth for channel partners through extensive marketing support, sales incentives, training, technical support and lead generation and protection. Channel partners may access sales and marketing tools along with FalconStor’s integrated lead-management console through the PartnerPlace Web portal, which provides exclusive information and documentation that streamlines sales processes and assists in attracting and retaining new business.

The program offers market development funds (MDF) and volume incentive rebates (VIR) to Preferred and Premier level partners to assist and reward their sales efforts. All partners can participate in margin building, deal registration and financial incentives with no minimum requirements. FalconStor helps partners earn greater rewards according to their commitment and business goals through MDF and revenue goal rebates.

FalconStor’s PartnerChoice program was awarded CRN magazine’s 5-Star Partner Program rating, which recognizes the elite subset of Partner Program Guide vendors who give solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programs.
