TM LAUNCHES ITS MARKETING TOOLS AT THE FINAL LEG OF SME BIZFEST 2012 SERIES

The SME showcase of the year makes its last and final stop in the Klang Valley …

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) recently launched its latest solution aimed at SMEs, Marketing Tools, a bundled value added services comprising engagement tools and listing services. This latest offering has been neatly engineered to offer SMEs a cost efficient one-stop-solution through SMS and to leverage on online listing for better visibility in the marketplace.

Marketing Tools has two (2) main features which include an engagement tool where customers can send SMS via online platform through TM’s InfoBlast service; and also allows customers to leverage on online listing via its Internet Yellow Pages. Marketing Tools also offers subscribers two (2) complimentary services that include Google AdWords trial through Google’s search engine listing, and complimentary business card printing for SMEs as part of the subscription premium. By subscribing to this product, subscribers can enjoy all the above and are in the position to standout from competitors with cost efficient online marketing tools.Datuk Bazlan Osman and Azizi A. The launch was in conjunction with the third and final stop of TM’s SME BizFest 2012 held at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur. The event, held for two days from 18 to 19 May 2012, was “virtually” launched by Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, Group Chief Executive Officer, TM in a futuristic hologram presentation. Also present at the event were Datuk Bazlan Osman, Group Chief Financial Officer, TM and Azizi A Hadi, Executive Vice President, SME, TM.

Speaking at the event, Azizi said, “In line with our aspiration to enable the SMEs to connect to the ease of doing business, Marketing Tools will ensure that SMEs are able to reach more potential customers via online marketing. With the ability to reach customers anywhere, anytime – via their mobile phones/smart phones and providing them with latest business promos and announcements, SMEs will have the opportunity to generate higher sales volume and bring in more revenue for the business at an affordable marketing expenditure. This solution also provides a two-way communication, thus serves as an avenue for the subscribers to receive feedbacks from their customers. It also offers the convenience to track their performance by measuring the response on their business via online reports for Infoblast, Internet Yellow Pages and Google AdWords.”

SME BizFest 2012, specifically tailored to SMEs, aimed to provide a synergistic ICT showcase for Malaysian SMEs to increase product and services knowledge and awareness among the fraternity. The event was also targeted at SME business community in Malaysia who require ICT solutions to improve and enhance their business operations. Among the highlights of the event were interactive presentations, plenary style conferences covering a wide range of ICT and SME topics by renowned international and local speakers, latest technology demonstration and exhibitions. Thus, through this event, TM provided yet another avenue for SMEs to empower their businesses via knowledge sharing and by participating in the activities held. In addition, SME BizFest provided the platform for SMEs to interact among themselves and opened up business opportunities through business matching sessions organised during the two-day event.

This event in Klang Valley was the third and final out of three stops for SME BizFest 2012 after its first stop held in Penang in April and the second stop in Johor early this month.
