Telco and Electronics Retailer Celebrate Partnership with Exciting Tablet PC Promotion
Kuala Lumpur, 5 November 2012 – U Mobile Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s most innovative and dynamic telco, is adding another feather to its cap and to its impressive string of firsts with the announcement that it has signed a partnership with Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd (Senheng). U Mobile is the first 3G telco to provide data packages with devices to be sold at Senheng and senQ stores nationwide, thus widening the company’s distribution channels.
From 1st October, U Mobile data packages will be available in all 97 Senheng stores and 28 senQ outlets. This fruitful partnership with Senheng, one of Malaysia’s leading consumer electronics chain stores, is yet another innovative and strategic initiative by U Mobile to increase consumer touch-points, reaching out to a broader consumer market. Apart from providing greater convenience to customers when they are opting for a data plan for their mobile devices, customers are also able to pay their U Mobile bills at any of the outlets.
To celebrate this milestone, U Mobile and Senheng announced a special bundled package for the newly launched Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1, where customers can enjoy up to RM350 discount when they pair the device with U Mobile’s data plan at RM68 a month. Users can now enjoy the wonderful features of the Android 4.0 tablet by Samsung together with U Mobile’s high speed mobile internet, with speeds up to 42Mbps.

In addition to the tablet PC promotion, U Mobile and Senheng are giving users RM240 discount on the Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 7.0, Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 10.1, Apple iPad 2 and the new iPad when they pair them with U Mobile’s data plan at only RM68 a month. Both promotions started 1st October and will end 30th November 2012.
U Mobile’s non-traditional distribution channels also include partnerships with RadioShack, GCH Retail, 7-Eleven, Singer and Cosway.
