HP Maintains No.1 Position in PC Shipment Worldwide

Latest IDC analyst report shows HP making gains in Asia Pacific.

MALAYSIA, Kuala Lumpur, January 16, 2013 – HP issued the following statement in response to recent IDC report on worldwide PC market share for the fourth quarter of 2012:

“IDC announced today that HP maintained the No. 1 position in PC shipments worldwide and in the United States. The IDC analysis also includes the very important workstation segment and therefore represents the most comprehensive analysis of the entire PC market.
