DiGi partners with global Internet players to drive mobile Internet adoption


Introducing new postpaid plans supporting digital services for a richer mobile experience

SHAH ALAM, 4 March 2013 – In conjunction with its Internet For All ambition, DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (“DiGi”) has enjoyed a strong take-up rate of DG SmartPlans and bundled smart devices in 2012 due to high demand for a better mobile Internet experience. To enable a richer mobile experience with relevant services that are desired by customers, DiGi is working with global Internet players like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and Opera Software to create new DG SmartPlans with a better Internet experience offered at best value.

Effective today, customers, who sign up for a DG SmartPlan from as low as RM58 per month, will enjoy a richer mobile experience. They would be able to share and connect with loved ones and their communities on Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp with a higher Internet quota up to 4GB as well as unlimited surfing via Opera Mini browser.

In addition to the new DG SmartPlan, DiGi is also introducing new Postpaid Tablet plans, Postpaid Broadband plans and a new feature, Postpaid Internet Top Up, which is available from as low as RM1 for customers to extend their surfing experience once they reach their quota.
