Sony introduces the new Water-proof and Wire-free Walkman® at the Sony’s Wet Party, ALOFT Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, 10 May – Sony Malaysia threw an aptly themed “Wet Party” at the ALOFT Hotel, KL Sentral today to introduce the new Walkman® Sports MP3 Player (NWZ-W273), joining the family of Sony’s water-proof product line-up including the recently launched Xperia Z Smartphone and Xperia Tablet Z, as well as Cyber-shot DSC-TX30. NWZ-W273 is a water-proof, all-in-one digital music player designed to conveniently and comfortably wear to the gym, the trail, the treadmill, and now, even into the pool .

The new NWZ-W273 device is designed with intuitive controls to easily adjust volume to play, pause, or change songs on-the-go. With its 4GB on-board memory (approximately 1000 songs), users can easily drag and drop DRM-free music files and playlists from iTunes® for Mac or PC, Windows® Media Player, or Windows Explorer. The NWZ-W273 player delivers up to eight hours of audio playback on a full charge. It also offers a convenient quick-charge function. Even if the battery is fully depleted, with just three minutes of charge time, the device can provide music for up to 60 minutes.
