Lenovo Unleashes New Windows 8 Touch Devices

Portfolio of consumer laptops, all-in-one desktop and a companion convertible 

KUALA LUMPUR – June 5, 2013: Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) today announced a range of touch-enabled PCs which come in a variety of form factors such as the Lenovo IdeaPads Z400, Z500, U410, and S400 Touch devices as well as the IdeaPad Yoga 11S. This recent lineup of Windows 8 touch-optimized devices are new additions to the ultra-portable IdeaPad U Series Ultrabooks™ and the multimedia intensive IdeaPad Z Series laptops, the premium machine designed for small businesses, the IdeaPad S Series, as well as the new model of the IdeaPad Yoga 11 series.

Lenovo also introduced the IdeaCentre C440 Touch Series all-in-one (AIO) desktop. The new C-Series AIO reshapes the affordable home computer into a smart, space-saving all-in-one PC, combining great multimedia features and performance that make this the ideal PC for family use and home entertainment. The IdeaCentre C440 Touch AIO offers powerful performance and multimedia features designed for immersive entertainment at a competitive price.

Lenovo’s signature IdeaPad U410 mainstream Ultrabook™ device takes thin and light to the next level with a new 10-finger touch support. This stylishly thin and light consumer Ultrabook™ is incredibly mobile at just 18mm thin and are ultra-responsive, waking up from sleep in just one second with Instant Resume. The machine comes with up to a 3rd gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor, the latest NVIDIA GeForce® graphics with DirectX® 11 and  an extended battery life for all day computing.

The IdeaPad Z400 and Z500 laptops are the latest-generation of the Z Series and optimized for the Windows 8 touch-based user interface. They support 10-point touch, feature specialized stereo speakers for extra bass with Dolby Home Theatre v4 for an immersive sound experience, equipped with up to 3rd gen standard voltage Intel® Core™ i7 processors and include the latest NVIDIA GeForce graphics technology. These laptops give consumers a large 14 to 15.6-inch touch screen to experience the full power of Windows 8. The backlit AccuType keyboard even lets users comfortably see what they’re typing when they’re in the dark.

Despite being thin, the IdeaPad S400 notebook offers a robust array of cutting-edge features.
