ihub Media Group Secures 20-Year Wholly Foreign-Owned Advertising License in Shanghai

Singapore, 11 July 2008 -- ihub Media Group, Asia’s leading internet marketing company, has firmly established its presence in Greater China by securing a 20-year advertising license to operate in Shanghai. Being a licensed entity affirms that ihub Media Group’s advertising service is in strict accordance with local media laws and regulations, and assures long term stability and credibility for the business. ihub Media Shanghai (a member of the Group) now joins the league of some of China’s more established advertising companies, who have also passed the stringent government qualification and requirements to sell advertising in China for publishers.

The Group will commence to extend into China, its business model of exclusive media sales representation of premium websites – a concept that is still unique to this thriving market. Tapping on the rich resources and strong repute of the other Group offices diversely spread across Asia Pacific, ihub Media Shanghai has swiftly established viable media sales relationships with key China websites such as Ctrip.com, Elong.com, QQ.com, Hexun.com, and HJEnglish.com.

The Shanghai office is currently helmed by brothers Vincent Wu (General Manager), and Simon Wu (Operations Director). Vincent Wu (MBA Business Management, University of Arkansas) has 7 years’ working experience in Guangdong, acting as GM for a manufacturing plant that employed over 200 staff. Simon Wu (BS in IS, University of Montana) has a similar background managing the plant in Guangdong alongside his brother. Their relevant academic backgrounds and invaluable know-how on operating in the Chinese market are strong advantages for ihub Media Shanghai.
