Ricoh Bags 4 Buyers Laboratory Inc. ‘2008 Pick of the Year Awards’

Recognition awards mark Ricoh’s product excellence and innovation

Malaysia, 3 September 2008 – Ricoh, a global leader in digital office solutions, has garnered four prestigious awards during the recent Buyers Laboratory Inc.’s (BLI) ‘2008 Pick of the Year Awards’.

Ricoh emerged as the winner in four product categories, namely the Outstanding Inkjet Printer MFP, Outstanding Inkjet Printer (A3 Size), Outstanding Segment 2 Monochrome MFP, and Outstanding Segment 3 Monochrome MFP.

Ricoh’s GelSprinter colour printers garnered two awards for the inkjet printer category. For the Outstanding Inkjet Printer MFP, Ricoh’s latest desktop all-in-one GelSprinter GX3050SFN was chosen as BLI’s ‘Pick’ winner, while the GelSprinter GX7000 was honoured the Outstanding Inkjet Printer (A3 Size) award. Ricoh’s GelSprinter features a revolutionary gel-ink technology that is fully water-proof and delivers colour quality comparable to colour laser output.

In the monochrome MFP segment, Ricoh outshined the rest where the Aficio MP2550 Series and Aficio MP3350 Series were selected as winners for BLI’s Outstanding Segment 2 Monochrome MFP and Outstanding Segment 3 Monochrome MFP, respectively.
