TM SIGNS HSBB AGREEMENT WITH FIRST REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER IN MALACCA

Buyers of GJH Avenue Sdn Bhd Property in Taman Paya Rumput Perdana Will Enjoy TM UniFi Enabled Units

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and GJH Avenue Sdn Bhd (GJH) recently inked a Service Agreement for the deployment and provision of TM’s High Speed Broadband (HSBB) network infrastructure and services to GJH’s new residential development project located at Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Taman Paya Rumput Perdana, Melaka - the first UniFi-equipped Township in Melaka.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by YB Datuk AR Ismail Othman, Deputy Chairman of the State Land, Finance, Economic Planning, Green Technology, Science and Technology State Committee who represented YAB Datuk Seri Hj. Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, Melaka Chief Minister and YB Datuk Gwee Yew Kiat, Chairman of The Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association Malaysia (REHDA). Rozlan Mohamed, State General Manager of TM Melaka signed the Service Agreement on behalf of TM while GJH Avenue Sdn Bhd was represented by its Managing Director, Yeow Ho Lock.
Commenting on the collaboration between the two parties, Rozlan Mohamed noted that the collaboration is another significant achievement for TM in bringing HSBB to more customers via established property developers such as GJH.

“The partnership between TM and GJH Avenue Sdn Bhd is indeed meaningful as it will greatly enhance TM’s presence in the entire Taman Paya Rumput Perdana development area and will enable customers to experience the new era of enhanced digital lifestyle through the provision of TM’s telephony and high speed broadband facilities. With these facilities, all new Taman Paya Rumput Perdana home buyers will get immediate connectivity upon moving into their homes,” he said.

Under this collaboration, the new housing area will be equipped with high speed broadband infrastructure which is UniFi enabled. Residents and owners of Taman Paya Rumput Perdana Phase 1 and 2 can immediately subscribe and enjoy UniFi experience to utilise digital applications riding on HSBB infrastructure which will enhance their Internet experience, in line with the quality living and eco friendly concept.

“With this new partnership, I am proud to say that GJH has set another milestone as we are the first housing developer in Melaka to sign an agreement with TM to make UniFi available to our property buyers. Under this agreement, GJH Avenue Sdn Bhd will expand the HSBB services to the newly launched development of Phase 1 Taman Paya Rumput Perdana at Phase 1 and 2 which consists of 1,637 units of bungalow houses,” said Yeow.


UniFi is offered as a triple-play services comprising of high speed internet, video (Internet Protocol Television or “IPTV”) and voice, with speeds from 5Mbps up to 20Mbps via fiber technology (Fiber-to-the-Home or “FTTH”). The service will also bring greater value for home owners and residents through a richer digital lifestyle and online experience as well as an enhanced competitiveness via a world class broadband infrastructure.
