Microsoft puts global modern art in the palm of your hand

The IT Company launches Limited Edition Artist Mice Series created by artists from around the world

Kuala Lumpur, 25 April, 2012 - Microsoft Hardware has introduced the expansion of its Artist Edition mice series, ushering in six new designs intended to complement the way Microsoft users work, play and learn. These new designs gracing the surfaces of the Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and Arc Touch Mouse will bring modern artwork to the users’ desktop and help infuse color and life into their computing experience.

The eclectic details decorating the surfaces of the Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and Arc Touch Mouse were designed from the inspired minds of six artists who come from all over the world. We hope that users will feel connected to these mice and identify with the concepts behind these new designs,” he added.
About the Designers

Designed by six talented artists who hail from diverse regions across the globe—from Asia to North America—who had used their backyards, cityscapes and local culture to inspire their artwork, the new designs will be part of an ongoing collection of wireless mice featuring the unique work of international artists. Microsoft Hardware is bringing these international stories into the computing experience of Malaysian users.
For Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500, users are now able to choose from any five original designs by featured artists Kenzo Minami, Sally Zou, SKWAK, Stina Perrson and Tchmo. As for the Arc Touch Mouse, users can now get their hands on the floral and nature inspired design by Oh Joy! to add beauty and style to your Windows-based PC experience.

The Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and Arc Touch Mouse are equipped with BlueTrack Technology, letting consumers track on virtually any surface , and the tiny Nano transceiver is so small it never needs to come out of the USB port - giving people portability and wireless freedom in a comfortable, compact mouse.
Pricing and Availability

Both mice are now available at retail outlets. The Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 is sold at an estimated retail price of RM76ii while the Arc Touch Mouse can be purchased at RM219 . Microsoft backs both these mouse with a worldwide three-year limited hardware warranty.
