VADS MAKES AN IMPRESSIVE SWEEP AT THE CONTACT CENTRE WORLD AWARDS – APAC REGION

VADS Berhad (VADS), the Information Communication Technology (ICT)/Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), grabbed all ten (10) awards in which the Company was shortlisted as finalist at the recently held Contact Centre World Top Ranking Performers Award 2012 – APAC Region in Singapore.

VADS, Malaysia’s ICT/BPO Powerhouse, received five (5) Gold Awards for Best Large Outsource Contact Centre, Best Outsourcing Partnership, Best Loyalty Programme, Best Outbound Contact Centre and Best Sales Campaign Project. By winning the Gold Awards, VADS also automatically qualified for the Contact Centre World Awards which will be held in Las Vegas in November this year.

VADS also received a Silver Award for its Person with Disability (PwD) initiative under the Best Community Programme by Contact Centre.

Apart from receiving accolades for the Company, its employees were also duly recognised and received individual awards for their excellence. Anna Yee, Assistant General Manager, Operations Support, bagged the Gold Award for Best Workforce Management Professional; Sayyed Rabby, Team Leader, Operations, received the Silver Award for Best Supervisor while Izat Amir, Customer Service Representative, was awarded the Silver Award for Best Customer Service Representative and Nor Hazurah, Senior Manager, Operations, won the Bronze Award for Best Contact Centre Manager.
