As employees become more mobile and the use of technology becomes more pervasive at the workplace, there is a strong demand and requirement for enterprises to adopt Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) policies to drive productivity and business profitability. Samsung’s comprehensive Enterprise Mobility solutions suite is being developed in collaboration with industry-leading organisations including MobileIron, Juniper, Citrix, Microsoft, Cisco and Fingi. The new division will address enterprise customers’ needs and it demonstrates the company’s strong commitment in enabling a more secure yet flexible and connected mobile workforce.

“Together with our powerful, innovative and connected devices on the market, we will deliver a comprehensive, best-in-class enterprise mobility solution to meet today’s demands of a diverse mobile workforce," said Kwon Jae Hoon, Managing Director, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

“Working closely with our Samsung Enterprise Partner Program of industry-leading partners, our solutions suite will ultimately enhance and improve functionality, connectivity and the experience for enterprise customers,” he added.

The BYOD trend has altered how enterprises approach the mobility of their workforce, encouraging a more customer-oriented and value management style. To address this trend, Samsung has built on existing capabilities to further develop business-class solutions. In addition to developments on the product end, Samsung is building an eco-system with leading global business partners to boost their B2B solutions.

The Digital Office & Virtualisation solutions allow users to access enterprise applications on-the-go on a single device securely and seamlessly. This helps in enabling businesses to adapt to the needs of an increasing mobile workforce who are expected to work on the move, anywhere, anytime.

Education also plays an important role in developing a concrete understanding of both devices and solutions. The Samsung Smart School is a total digital education package consisting of Samsung tablet and software to provide better teacher to student interaction, more efficient communication and improved classroom management. This serves as an inclusive digital learning system that features targeted services, devices and software to create a managed digital learning setting, contributing to increases in student grades and classroom efficiency.

Designed bespoke for individual business requirements, Retail and Digital Signage can be seen through Samsung’s state-of-the-art professional displays, which are engineered for maximum performance and reliability – no matter what the application. Samsung’s specialised factory tuning and software helps businesses achieve a uniform multi-video display to deliver the most impactful video wall for their business. Types of solutions include LED Backlit Displays, Touch Screen Displays & Video Wall Displays.

As part of the growth strategy for the region, Samsung will be making significant investments over the next 12 months in the region, including a 200 per cent growth in headcount across the areas of sales, marketing, solutions, operations and service support. This expansion is in line with Samsung’s plan to strengthen its enterprise offering in the region.
