We at TM are proud to play our role in boosting the development of UniSZA towards better service delivery for the benefit of all – its academicians, workforce and even students.”

Under the five (5) year agreement, TM is upgrading the capacity of Internet connectivity at UniSZA campus in Gong Badak to 1 Gbps to provide the university with faster access hence enhancing the surfing experience for the campus community. With the provision of the service, UniSZA becomes TM’s first customer in the East Coast region to be provisioned with 1 Gbps access speed, putting UniSZA a step ahead amongst the institution of higher learning fraternity.

Besides that, TM will also be connecting UniSZA main campus in Gong Badak with its other campuses namely Tembila campus in Besut, Kota campus in Kuala Terengganu and International campus in Kuala Lumpur via TM’s IPVPN service. This will further improve the university’s productivity and enable its community to access education related applications in a faster and more organised manner. With the enhanced connectivity, the campus administrators, academicians as well as students of UniSZA will also be able to connect with the other campuses faster and more efficiently. In addition, UniSZA will be able to monitor its ICT network infrastructure at a centralised location in a secured environment.

The service has been made available at the campus since end of 2013.

“With a focus on our domestic business and our proven achievements as Government’s preferred partner in providing connectivity and other telecommunications services via our extensive network, TM is in a good position to deliver the nation’s agenda towards achieving the Government’s Entry Point Projects (EPP) objectives under the Economic Transformation Programme. With provision of IPVPN and DOME, TM and UniSZA are one step closer towards achieving the goals of EPP in ensuring broadband for all, deepening e-Government usage and establishing e-Learning for students and professional training,” added Hamdan.
