HP Expands Its Microsoft Dynamics Enterprise Delivery Services Portfolio

Company integrates Arvato Systems’ Microsoft Dynamics projects in Southeast Asia

KUALA LUMPUR, 10 April 2014 —HP today announced the expansion of its Microsoft Dynamics® application solutions portfolio.

Demand for Microsoft Dynamics enterprise delivery services has been growing significantly in Asia over the past 12 months. HP Enterprise Services is focused on building strong local capability together with off-shore capacity to provide customers with scalable solutions at highly competitive pricing.

HP has expanded its offshore Microsoft Dynamics capacity in India, China and the Philippines, and is now further enhancing its strong local capability by integrating the management and support of Arvato Systems’ Microsoft Dynamics practice in Asia.

HP will continue to deliver the same high-quality services customers have come to expect from Arvato, while bringing them additional scale and global reach. Under the terms of the agreement, employees of Arvato Systems’ Microsoft Dynamics Practice in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand joined HP on April 1.

“HP Enterprise Services delivers Applications, Cloud, Infrastructure and BPO solutions to hundreds of clients worldwide based on Microsoft Dynamics’s application solutions,” said Datin Lim Bee Wah, Country General Manager, Enterprise Services, Hewlett-Packard Malaysia. “With our augmented capacity in Asia, combined with local market knowledge and language skills, we are even better positioned to deliver innovative solutions to benefit our customers.”

Domain expertise and experience in key industry verticals has enabled HP Enterprise Services to build a strong portfolio of solutions that can be implemented rapidly, improving the time to value for customers.

“Microsoft continues to take market share in the enterprise with our Microsoft Dynamics business solutions,” said Adrian Johnston, Vice President, Asia Region, Microsoft Business Solutions. “With HP consolidating its delivery resources, it is positioned well to take advantage of these opportunities and it becomes a key Microsoft Dynamics global system integrator in the region.”

New Microsoft Dynamics solution offerings for the New Style of IT
By building on its existing investments in cloud services, analytics and data management, and mobility, HP can provide Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) solutions for enterprise customers on the Microsoft Dynamics platform. HP BPaaS is an industry solution platform that can be consumed as a service rather than requiring large up-front capital investments. Specific HP BPaaS solutions include:

·    Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Distribution Channel Management: a hosted Microsoft Dynamics AX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment combined with integrated trade promotions management.
·    Automotive Dealer Management Sales and Service:  a range of solutions focused on original equipment manufacturers’ requirements to drive brand consistency across sales and services channels and maximize revenue opportunities.
·    Bank Branch Automation and Transformation: a multichannel solution built on the Microsoft Dynamics customer relationship management (CRM) platform, which provides a single view of the customer across all core banking applications and enables advisors to easily recognize the most valuable customers and transactions taking place in the branch at any time.
·    Government Case Management and Enrolment as a Service: an extendable platform built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM to provide citizen services across government entities.
·    Retail and Hospitality Solutions: a range of solutions built on the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform that connect headquarter product management to store inventory and enables single catalogue management across multiple channels.
·    Travel and Transportation Customer Hub: a solution that utilizes the Microsoft Dynamics platform in conjunction with HP’s flight booking systems that processes over 1 billion travellers annually.

“The combination of software assets, strong domain expertise, analytics and as-a-service delivery models will increasingly allow traditional service providers like HP Enterprise Services to reinvent the way they deliver value to their clients,“ said Frederic Giron, vice president, Principal Analyst Serving Sourcing and Vendor Management Professionals, Forrester Research, Inc. “These offerings, increasingly delivered as a service and aligned to business outcomes, will help end-user organizations automate the management of interaction cases with clients, partners and employees.”
