Epicor Achieves Finalist Status for Two High-Tech Innovation Awards

AeA Orange County Council Names Epicor a 2008 Finalist for “Outstanding Public Company” and “Outstanding Public Company CEO” Awards

April 21, 2008 — Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), a leading provider of enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and divisions of Global 1000 companies, today announced its finalist status in two categories of the 15th Annual AeA High-Tech Innovation Awards program. Epicor is a finalist for ”Outstanding Public Company” and Epicor Executive Chairman of the Board, George Klaus, is a finalist for “Outstanding Public Company CEO.”

Presented by the AeA Orange County Council, the 2008 High-Tech Innovation Awards will be presented at a gala dinner ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Irvine on April 29, 2008, kicked-off by a reception and technology showcase of the major players in local innovation and global competitiveness.

The 2008 High-Tech Innovation Awards recognize local companies, individuals and products in the technology field that drive innovation. The AeA’s black-tie optional awards event spotlights Orange County’s dynamic community of innovators, raising awareness of initiatives and programs in development to sustain the United States’ position as the world leader in science and technology.
